Audio International's AUD-0812-01-x is a cabin audio control module that can be configured to accept up to eight inputs.  The module has eight independent stereo audio inputs and 12 independent stereo audio outputs.  Any of the eight audio source inputs may be routed to any of the 12 audio source outputs, and all outputs are capable of providing output for the same single audio input source concurrently.  Each audio output is capable of driving either a cabin audio interface module (i.e., equalizer, power amplifier, etc.) or an entertainment headphone audio switch panel.
   The AUD-0812-01-x provides for PA audio interface capability.  The unit provides a PA keyline connection that allows for redirection of the PA audio input to the 12 entertainment audio source outputs at the same time when active.  This input may also function effectively as an audio mute input if no PA audio source is connected to the PA audio input interface.

The “-x” suffix designates the type of connector utilized;
“-1” = Positronic and “-2” = D-Subminiature.
