MSM2904-xx-x Cabin Management Processor
   Provides relay contacts, active high ad low discrete inputs, active low discrete outputs, variable voltage outputs, and potentiometers that are used to control functions of the cabin management system. Features include 56 5-amp FORM A relays, 12 5-amp FORM C relays, 4 linear potentiometers with 32 step resolution, 4 variable voltage outputs with 100 step resolution, 8 active high discrete inputs, 8 active low discrete inputs, and 16 active low outputs.  

The “-
xx” in the model number designates the configuration of the unit.   
The “-x” suffix designates the type of connector utilized; 
“-1” = Positronic and “-2” = D-Subminiature.

MSM2904-15-2 Cabin Management Processor   

    Audio International’s MSM2904-15-2 provides relay contacts, active high and low discrete inputs, active low discrete outputs, and variable voltage outputs.  A potentiometer is used to control various functions of the cabin management system.  These relays and discrete inputs give the MSM2904-15-2 the ability to provide power to multiple aircraft devices. 
    MSM2904-15-2 has eight Hi Discrete Inputs, 16 Low Discrete Inputs, 56 Form A Relays, 12 Form C Relays, and 4 Linear Potentiometers (100 Ω, 1 watt).  MSM2904-15-2 also incorporates a watchdog timer for return to last state setting.
    For communication interface purposes, the MSM2904-15-2 provides an RS-485 serial data bus interface for communication with various other RS-485 serial data bus controlled devices.  It also provides ID strapping connections to allow up to four identical units to exist on the same data bus segment by providing a method for which each unit may be individually addressed.

MSM2904-13-2 Cabin Management Processor   

    Audio International’s MSM2904-13-2 provides relay contacts, active high and low discrete inputs, active low discrete outputs, and variable voltage outputs.  A potentiometer is used to control various functions of the cabin management system.  The relays and discrete inputs give the MSM2904-13-2 the ability to provide power to multiple aircraft devices. 
    MSM2904-13-2 has eight Hi Discrete Inputs, 16 Low Discrete Inputs, 56 Form A Relays, 12 Form C Relays, and 4 Linear Potentiometers; two 100 Ω and two 10k Ω.  The 10k Ω pots have 400 Ω resistors on both the high and low ends.  The MSM2904-13-2 also incorporates a watchdog timer for return to last state setting.
    For communication interface purposes, the MSM2904-13-2 provides an RS-485 serial data bus interface for communication with various other RS-485 serial data bus controlled devices.  It also provides ID strapping connections to allow up to four identical units to exist on the same data bus segment by providing a method for which each unit may be individually addressed.

MSM2904-09-x Cabin Management Processor   

   The MSM2904-09-x provides relay contacts, +28 Vdc discrete inputs, variable voltage outputs, and potentiometers that are used to control various functions of the cabin management systems.  Any device in the aircraft that requires switching can be controlled by this module via AI’s proprietary RS-485 serial data bus or by discrete inputs.  All control functions are maintained on four identical boards, which provide quadruple switching capacity.
   The MSM2904-09-x model has a 0 to 10k-ohm potentiometer range.  

The “-x” suffix designates the type of connector utilized;                          “-1” = Positronic and “-2” = D-Subminiature.

MSM2905-09-x Cabin Management Processor
   The MSM2905-09-x provides relay contacts, +28 Vdc discrete inputs, variable voltage outputs, and potentiometers that are used to control various functions of the cabin management systems.  Any device in the aircraft that requires switching can be controlled by this module via AI’s proprietary RS-485 serial data bus or by discrete inputs. 
   10 k-ohm potentiometer, +1.25 to +2.5 Vdc variable voltage outputs, and no watchdog capabilities.

   The MSM2905-08-x provides relay contacts, +28 Vdc discrete inputs, variable voltage outputs, and potentiometers that are used to control various functions of the cabin management systems.  Any device in the aircraft that requires switching can be controlled by this module via AI’s proprietary RS-485 serial data bus or by discrete inputs. 
   5 k-ohm potentiometer, discrete logic level input (0 to +3 Vdc), and no watchdog.
