SVR-500-01-x Audio-On-Demand Mini Server

   SVR-500-01-x is a Pentium™-based PC with local area network capabilities.  This unit allows graphical updates to touch-screen units.   SVR-500-01-x provides interface between Audio International touch screens and Honeywell AF-500 Audio File Server.  The unit makes use of sixteen 10MB Ethernet connections, for communication purposes to other network-connected devices.  Each interface is rated for 10Base-TX allowing 10 Mbps (minimum) data communication rate at each interface.

   Inside the unit, a cooling fan ventilates internal components and prevents undesirable heat buildup.  This unit is lightweight, built to rugged aircraft standards, and is vibration resistant.

The “-x” suffix designates the type of connector utilized;  
“-1” = Positronic and “-2” = D-Subminiature.

MSM2910-01-x LAN File Server

   The MSM2910-01-x provides an Ethernet local area network (LAN) interface to all touch-screen monitors in an aircraft.  This unit provides standard PC connections: keyboard, mouse, serial ports, VGA display, parallel port, and an external modem.  It also has a removable ATA type III hard drive that enables instantaneous upgrade to the operating system and floppy drive connections.  The MSM2910-01-x is a Pentium™ based PC with local area network capabilities.  
   
   
This unit allows graphical updates to all touch-screen units as well as peripheral control to Airshow, Audio-on-Demand units, and other cabin management controllers.  In addition, external modem connections, using a 10BaseT with RJ45 Ethernet connection, can be made to the unit for direct interface between Audio International and the aircraft systems.  This connection will allow updates and diagnostics to be performed over standard telephone connections.
