MSM283-xx Digital Cabin Temperature Control

   The MSM283-xx is a cabin temperature controller that controls the cabin environmental systems using an isolated resistive element.  This low-profile module mounts remotely, isolating the passenger from control circuitry.  The module will accept inputs from standard or membrane switches. 

The “-xx” suffix denotes the specific resistor value that is dictated by the aircraft heating and cooling system (500-ohm standard resistor value).

MSM2890-x Digital Cabin Temperature Control

   The MSM2890-x and TS-102 is a thermostatic control system for the cabin environment.  The digital temperature system includes a digital control module that interfaces with the aircraft temperature system, dedicated temperature control panel, and the solid state temperature probe.  The MSM2890-x provides data bus logic, digital pot, and input for up to eight temperature probes.  It processes and averages readings from the probes to provide a comfortable temperature throughout the cabin.  
  
A minimum of four probes is recommended for a basic system.  Additional probes provide better resolution and a more stable comfort zone.  Internal software provides “hysterisis” action to minimize over or undershooting of the target temperature setting.  The output potentiometer value is customer specified to match the specific heating/cooling system. 
   The TS-102 provides accurate temperature response despite the effect of “cold soak” conditions and areas with low air circulation.  It also provides maximized isolation, thermal transfer, and temperature reading accuracy

   The MSM2891-xx-x Digital Cabin Temperature Controller with the TS-102 Temperature Sensor  is a thermostatic control system for the cabin environment.  The digital temperature system includes a digital control module that interfaces with the aircraft temperature system and the solid state temperature sensor.  The MSM2891-xx-x provides data bus logic, digital pot, and input for up to eight temperature sensors.  The control module processes and averages readings from the sensors to provide an average temperature reading for the cabin area.

   The MSM2892-100-x along with the use of the TS-102 provides for a true thermostatic control system that will allow for direct temperature control and regulation of ambient aircraft cabin temperature.  Combined with the use of temperature control panels that may be located throughout the cabin environment, this temperature control system allows the user the capability to set a specific desired ambient cabin temperature for regulation.

MSM2894-01-2 Cabin Temperature Control

   The MSM2894-01-2 Temperature Controller in combination with the SPS-F90(C)-5833, Temperature Control Switch, provides a control system that allows for the regulation of the ambient cabin temperature.  The current ambient cabin temperature may be displayed in either Celsius or Fahrenheit and is updated in one minute intervals.  The Temperature Control Switch, SPS-F90(C)-5833, may be located throughout the cabin environment to facilitate the need for user interface.  
   The SPS-F90(C)-5833, Temperature Control Switch, incorporates two buttons, WARM and COOL, and a four character alphanumeric display.  The display color is green and will display the ambient cabin temperatures in the range of 12 to 32° Celsius or 54 to 89° Fahrenheit.  The depressing of the buttons, WARM or COOL, shall increase or decrease the temperature at one degree increments, respectively.  The MSM2894-01-2 also utilizes an Intertechnique Temperature Sensor, Manufacturer # 785895.

MSM2920-01-x Digital Cabin Temperature Control

   The MSM2920-01-x provides an interface between the cabin temperature control and the aircraft temperature unit.  An “ON/OFF” toggle switch in the cockpit will allow the aircraft pilot to select the cabin temperature control designation. In case of power outage/failure, the system defaults to cockpit control.  Eight, 32-step potentiometers in the MSM2920-01-x route the temperature settings to the temperature unit.

   Reduces the effects of direct sunlight and areas with low air circulation. The TS-102 features a digital temp probe mounted in a delrin housing with an internal circulation fan. TS-103-x Digital Cabin Temperature Control

   The TS-103-x Temperature Sensor connects directly to AI’s proprietary serial data bus and provides ambient temperature readouts back to the controlling touch screen or passenger control device.  The TS-103-x is designed with ID strapping to support up to eight sensors controlled by one touch screen and connected on the same serial data bus.  Through the use of the TS-103-x input an average ambient temperature indication can be calculated and displayed at the dedicated temperature control panel.
